    Lightbulb Applied anistropic material properties

    Hello everyone,

I would like to apply anisotropic (radial, circumferential and deep dependant) material properties, Is it any way to do that in preview ?

I tried to use the tools "set fiber" or "set axes" with the node numbering but I don't understand how it works.

    Thank you for your help.

    Alexis.

    Hi Alexis,

The set fiber and set axes features refer to the methods used by FEBio for generating the preferred fiber direction (for transversely isotropic) and local material axes (for anisotropic materials). The node numbering option used the local node numbers in each element to define the fiber direction or material axes. A detailed discussion of this feature can be found in the User's manual. See section 4.1.1. Specifying fiber orientation. I hope that helps.

    Cheers,
